Stuart Cooke is a poet, scholar and translator. His third collection of poems, Lyre, was recently published by UWAP, and his translation of Gianni Siccardi’s The Blackbird was published by Vagabond Press in 2018. He is the winner of the Gwen Harwood, Dorothy Porter and New Shoots poetry prizes, and was recently awarded the Australia Council’s BR Whiting Residency in Rome. He is a senior lecturer in creative writing and literary studies at Griffith University.
