Nadine Hood has taught at Southern Cross University, UNSW & St Petersburg University, Russia. She has worked as a freelance journalist, mainly on local government and environmental issues; and with ABC Radio as a science broadcaster. She lived in the Soviet Union in the early 1990s. Originally trained in the physical sciences, especially neurochemistry, Nadine later gained a Masters in Social Ecology.
