Deborah Cleland is a PhD student at the Fenner School of Environment and Society at the Australian National University.
She works in science communication and fisheries conservation in collaboration with the Marine Science Institute of the University of the Philippines.
Through the Coral Reef Targeted Research and Capacity Building for Management program, she has written about her experiences playing board games with fishers in academic journals and books as well as in the recently published Tackling Wicked Problems through the Transdisciplinary Imagination (Brown et al (eds), Earthscan, 2010).
Deborah also co-convenes and blogs for the Human Ecology Forum at ANU.
