The ebullient Scottish writer Andrew O'Hagan is best known for his fiction. He has written three novels: Our Fathers, Personality and Be Near Me which have all won prizes.
However, he also has a reputation as a writer of non-fiction with The Missing and his latest book, The Atlantic Ocean: Essays on Britain and America.
